I crocheted the Bernie Sanders Mittens Meme! This Meme broke the internet even the crochet and knitting community jumped on. I know a lot of people in the crochet and knitting community have made mitten patterns, actual mittens, and even amigurumis like this.
I am so thankful for the handmade community. I know that crochet and knitting are making a comeback but this has brought so much attention to our community and it makes me very thankful for it. I know this will most likely help people with handmade businesses get some more attention from the public. It makes me very happy to know that there are people who support us.
I wanted to make mine different. I made up this Pattern and at first I made what I believed; were small mittens but then I realized they were to big. I didn’t want to make him 3 feet tall. (I have made amigurumis this big though) Instead; I added them to his final design.
